Adventures in Diving - Pay As you go!!
Description

Welcome to our "Adventures in diving" program, your first step beyond Open Water diver certification!

You have learnt how to “survive” underwater…now learn how to dive! Diving has more aspects to it than just watching pretty fish; you can take pictures, get your buoyancy sorted, learn how to use a compass underwater, do slightly deeper dives and enhance your already learned skills from Open Water.

If you have not dived for a while combine you refresher course with your advanced course and make the most of your time.

The PADI "Adventures in diving" program consists of specific Adventure Dives. We offer the following Adventure dives at the mentioned locations:

Sodwana, Red Sea, Mozambique -Coast:

Miracle Waters (Brits) – Inland:

Aliwal Shoal (Umkomaas)- Coast:

 Komati Springs (Badgat) – Inland:

Prerequisites

  • PADI Open Water Diver or jr. OW diver (or Equivalent)
  • 12 yrs old – Jnr. Adv Open Water
  • 15 yrs and older- Adv. Open Water diver
Course Outline

During your Adventures in Diving course you will do the following:

  • Complete all relevant Knowledge Reviews in your “Adventures in diving” manual
  • Mark the Knowledge Reviews before you do the dives with your Instructor
  • Your Instructor will brief you on the skills & task to be performed during the dive
  • After the dive your Instructor will de-brief you and sign off your logbook

Because the course only requires that you do 5 dives minimum it can easily be done over a period of time – eg. You can do 1 dive every weekend or 2 dives at an Inland site and 3 at the coast – or 4 and 1 or 1 and 4… This is the perfect course if you “don’t have time” …!
Payment options can be scheduled to suit your pocket and your diary – as long as all is completed within 1 year.

The best way to do this course is to combine it with PADI specialties – this lets you do your specialties and at the same time earn your advanced rating, when you then complete you Rescue Diver course you will be able to apply for your Master Scuba Diver!
What's needed
Just yourself & your own softgear!

Confidence and skills gained on this course will prepare you for your DiveMasters course – it also ensures that you earn the rating of Master Scuba Diver if you have completed all the other pre-requisites.

  • To be come a Specialist Diver you need to complete 2 - 3 of the same Adventure dives (depending on which Specialty you choose)
  • Every dive you do on the Adventures in Diving program will count as the first dive towards the relevant Specialty.
