Description
For kids!! Dive into a pool and do fun stuff, even do a night dive while Mum and Dad have a braai next to the pool. Float like an astronaut, weightless and free! PADI Seal team is an exiting underwater activity filled introduction to the world of diving. PADI SEALS get to swim underwater, experience adventure, discovery and thrills. You will get a cool logbook, activity book and DVD. For Mom (she always worries...) PADI SEAL team is a structured program that lets Children develop skills, learn about the aquatic realm and have lots of clean fun! Children learn about diving by watching the PADI SEAL TEAM video, using the AquaMission activity book and during pre-dive briefings with the instructor. Each AquaMission consist of a briefing, a skill and an activity. Having done an AquaMissions and having answered the questions in the Activity book will earn the young diver a AquaMission decal to stick in their logbooks – doing all 5 AquaMissions and all questions earns them the PADI SEAL TEAM .They will receive a wall certification as well as a member card, this will also entitle them to special access to a website designed for young divers.

Prerequisites
Must be at least 8 years old. Participant and parent or guardians must complete and sign the PADI seal team statement prior to in water activities Medical statement to complete – any yes answers – medical approval is required

Course Outline
5 Pool sessions in a 2 - 4 meter deep pool Upon payment of full course price, you will receive your SEAL Team crewpack and DVD. Registration will be completed and your photo taken. Watch your DVD and complete your seal Team AquaMission Activity book at home at your own! Bring your Mum and Dad with to the pool and come and dive! Complete 5 dives for PADI Seal. Complete 15 dives for PADI Master Seal Brag to your friends!!

What's needed
PADI Seal Team Crewpak, Swimming costume, Towel, Sun block, Lunch money, Mum, Dad or both. Require Mask Fins Snorke Recommended Your own small wetsuit if you have one ( water is nice and warm)

What's next
Kids that have finished their SEAL course can start with specialty AquaMissions. Having completed 10 specialty AquaMissions will make you a PADI Master Seal!! If you are turning 10 soon and are already a SEAL or Master SEAL do your Junior PADI Open Water course and get to dive as deep as 12 meters!! ( with Dad or an Instructor of course)

Notes
We do have smaller size wetsuits and fins but kids come in strange sizes...if you have stuff –bring with Pool sessions are not long and can be done in just a costume Pool is heated but is still relatively cold in winter – Mid Spring to early Autumn are best times Bring warm stuff for outside – wind chill is a big factor and kids will get colder than normal swimming as they are breathing cold air under water!

Questions & Answers
How long does an AquaMission take? Pool sessions are no longer than 20 -30 minutes at a time – briefings and debriefings take some time as well – allow 1.5 hours per session. How long is the entire course? 5 AquaMissions ( 10 extra for Master Seal) Are the Kids safe? Yes…safer than playing rugby or riding a bike, or skateboarding…Full supervision is provided at all time, at no stage will children be allowed in the water on their own on scuba.

The coolest Instructors…Some are weird and some not …but I promise you will have FUN!!!
