This is probably the best written article about the David Shaw/Don Shirley Boesmansgat Expedition. It is true to fact, and a well-rounded article, telling what the divers and other people involved went through before and after the dive. An article well worth reading!

During a dive in October 2004, David Shaw found Deon's remains at 270 meters. He attempted to lift Deon, but it seemed his cylinders were firmly stuck in the mud.
